THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR HELP VOLUNTEERING LAST SPRING!
2025 Volunteer Points Program
Anaheim Hills Little League (AHLL) is a nonprofit, volunteer-run, community-based youth sports organization. We strive to teach positive life lessons, good sportsmanship, winning and losing with pride, teamwork, and to develop the qualities of citizenship and leadership through the game of baseball.
Our Managers, Board of Directors, and other volunteers give their time and efforts for the benefit of our youth. As professionals with actual jobs, families, and a host of other commitments, these volunteers put forth a tremendous amount of effort; leaving jobs early, rescheduling business meetings and family outings, planning practices and team events, attending League meetings, buying extra gear with their own money – it’s really rewarding, but it is also a lot of hard work.
Accordingly, AHLL will be continuing with our Volunteer Points this season. We value your feedback and have adjusted the Volunteer Points & Buyout.
In accordance with the AHLL By-Laws, all AHLL Teams are required to staff the following positions:
-Manager (1)
-Assistant Coaches (2)
-Team Coordinator (1)
-Field Maintenance Crew (2) - must participate in Field Day
-Trained Umpires (2) - must attend free Umpire Clinic
o Single A, AA, AAA, and Majors only
-Trained Lead Scorekeeper (1) - AA, AAA, and Majors only
Additionally, the family of each registered player must complete two (2) Volunteer Points per player with a maximum of four (4) points per family. In addition to the Team Requirements listed above, other available volunteer opportunities include:
-Snack Bar shifts, Saturday Grill/BBQ & Special Events (Opening Day, Picture Day, Angel Day, Special Events, etc.)
Your team’s completed Help Sheet (volunteer list) must be turned in to the AHLL Board before teams will be permitted to practice. In trade, your team will be issued practice and game schedules.
The longevity of AHLL and its rich history of success both on the field and in the community stems from the tremendous effort of many generations of board members, managers, coaches, volunteers, and parents who ensure the best interest of our players is central to everything we do. That is our legacy, and as we aim to build upon it, we look to you, the next generation of AHLL players and families.
Please reach out to your Manager and Team Coordinator for additional details.
